High-end repair vendor for ICT systems and components, Kender Thijssen European Repair and European supply chain specialists, TDG announce their collaboration to offer ICT customers reverse logistics and repair services. This will also improve current speed and efficiency of maintenance of Kender Thijssen customers’ business-critical systems.

TDG will provide the physical infrastructure, logistics employees and distribution in Europe as well as airfreight to the other continents; Kender Thijssen will provide repairs to computer equipment and other electronic equipment. By combining forces, Kender Thijssen and TDG will enable other international hardware suppliers to offer their customers extra service and the ability to meet guaranteed services.

Walter Kusters, Manager Business Development with TDG: “Our logistic services form the perfect match with the repair-solution of Kender Thijssen. We will not only screen, test and repair the goods, but also ensure they are returned to the customer. Outsourcing the full process of worldwide receipt of defective products will have a cost down effect on overheads and other costs for hardware suppliers.”

Allan da Graça, Business Team Manager with Kender Thijssen: “We notice that, due to further intensification on the market and globalisation, customers have a growing need to outsource their business to a partner operating on a worldwide scale. They will search for flexible businesses, capable to develop know-how on prolonging the support of products for a longer period of time than is possible with the original manufacturer. The collaboration with TDG means we can focus on these needs and can offer world-wide reverse logistics to our customers.”
