Kuehne+Nagel Slovakia has been awarded a 5-year contract by Slovak Telekom to manage warehousing and distribution of its end-user products across the country. In addition to national warehousing and distribution, Kuehne+Nagel provides value-added services including shortening and coiling of cables, picking and packing, as well as returns and complaints management. Slovak Telekom’s product range encompasses landline and cordless phones, cables, switchboards, modems, computer network infrastructure, mp3 players, telephone directories and promotional material. Under the agreement, 60 Slovak Telekom staff and a fleet of 20 vehicles have transferred to Kuehne+Nagel, and the company has set up implants at Slovak Telekom’s three national warehouses: Bratislava, Banksa Bystrica and Kosice (20,800 m2 in total). All operations will continue to be performed out of these locations.
