Screen test for Total Logistics

International independent supply chain consultancy, Total Logistics, has opened its doors to film cameras in a bid to demystify the role of external experts within the logistics industry. Available via the firm’s new website, the series of videos takes a fresh look at the role of consultancies and provides advice on how logistics managers can gain best value from such sources of knowledge and experience.

Total Logistics plans to launch two new videos every month via its Download Centre over the next year, focusing on topics such as benefits realisation in the supply chain; margin improvement in tough economic times and case studies of recent projects undertaken by the consultancy. The series of films will also highlight the firm’s strong industry experience in the sectors of retail, fashion, automotive and food manufacturing to name a few.

Stuart Hearn, business development manager at Total Logistics, said: “While we successfully complete projects for global brands that are often central to their ongoing success, we have traditionally maintained a fairly low profile. In the course of completing these films, we highlight some interesting statistics about ourselves; our team has undertaken over 800 projects across 35 countries over the last 22 years; our team has a combined experience of 330 years and 100 per cent of our clients would recommend our services to peers or other businesses. This approach – of using short, informative videos to illustrate our expertise and share knowledge – is surprisingly underutilised by businesses in the supply chain and we believe this is a great way of quickly communicating the unique value of our business.”
